Chris Dearden
Managing Director
Chris is founder and Managing Director of GasWatch Safety Systems. His part in the gas detection and gas safety industry goes back twenty five years. Standards and best practice are equal along side driving exceptional service standards and care to bring continuous improvements at every level of gas safety in environments where people work, live and play.
Chris states, “There is no reason why business cannot first be about looking after clients and the people who are the company. To much is placed around short term gains and the push for profit at the expense of getting the best product solutions out to the client and then back it up with engaged engineers who care. Profit is the bonus of success and success comes from seeing people as the most important part of everything we do”

Craig Sweaton
Technical Director
Craig is our Technical Director. His primary role is to assist clients in the design and delivery of gas detection solutions for their business using the latest technology and innovative solutions. Craig works with our technical team to produce conceptual ideas that are developed into a finalised and agreed solution for the client. From an initial idea to planning and delivery, Craig has the experience to bring gas safety solutions to every environment where people work, live or play.
Craig has covered a number of roles within the industry and has vast knowledge of the technicalities of gas detection. Asked how he sees his role evolving within the industry, he remarks, “Every project brings a new challenge to overcome with a gas-safety solution, which is the element I enjoy most, then seeing the finished solution with a satisfied client is the perfect end to any project.”

Graeme Walker
Senior Field Service Engineer
Graeme, our Senior Field Service Engineer, brings an impressive 18 years of industry experience, having served as a Field Service Engineer, Service Manager, and Engineer. He emphasises the importance of customer satisfaction, stating, "If you are honest and open with a customer, they are more likely to return for your services." With a diverse background in both portable and fixed gas detection, Graeme possesses a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
Looking forward, Graeme is eager to propel Gaswatch to new heights and stimulate business growth. His objective extends beyond merely acquiring customers; he aims to prioritise them by cultivating a client list of individuals who have confidence in both him and the company to consistently deliver optimal solutions.
